State of consciousness
When I hear the words state of consciousness you think about think about a world that is being controlled by one order and that order is to work until the end of your days and not knowing the meaning of exploring the world of nature and other great places that hasn't been yet discovered but we can’t do any of this because of society where in today.
Where all in a world where good stuff is illegal and bad stuff us legal, for example the legal things that can eventually take your life in time and destroy your body very slowly and them things are, Alcohol, legal highs, cigarettes, tablets you can overdose on but the illegal things that are good for you and can’t kill you but could help you body and mind recover and help you start thinking is marijuana in my words, “I don’t smoke it” but I sure know the effects of it.
So take time and think why are they illegal and if found with this drug you can be jailed for a long time but if you have fags that can kill you and alcohol that can take your life away legal, why are most car accidents that involve death caused by alcohol *Drunk Driving* and most lug failure cause by cigarettes that can cause cancer? Because that’s what the government want us to do but doesn't marijuana, if you think about it if they were to legalise marijuana crime rating would go down allot just like the USA, so if it’s legal to smoke marijuana in some parts of the USA but not in the UK I think it’s because they want to keep the crime rating up because its more money for the police apartment and the government.
In my eye people should think outside the box and start thinking about what’s really going on in our society and understand the world we live in is nothing more than brainwashed people that is being stupidly controlled by technology and working until the end of your days, you make money but at the end of it all there’s nothing left for yourself because bills keep getting higher and you only have a little left for yourself for food clothes ect. The government needs to stop being greedy about money because their making the rich richer and the poor poorer, not like some people are poor it’s just a state fact.
People need to know that life is an adventure and was made to be explored and find new things in the world like nature, you was meant to enjoy the life you was given not working like a slave until you die, but at the end of the day people have no choice but to work because without money you will end up homeless on the streets, think about it I’m blaming those in charge because after all there’s nothing else to do money pays for thing that don’t really belong to you.

Photography Product
The reason why I have chosen this photo for my studio project is because skateboarding really inspires me, ever since I was young I've always loved skateboarding so this was the main reason why I've chosen skateboarding for thing project, How I set up the lighting and how I took the photo is easy, first I decided to lay it flat on the floor but thought I doesn't look right with the lighting shining on the main surface of the board, so I decided to lay it on its back while I've got a nice shadow of the pink wheel reflecting the shadow onto the bottom part of the board, with the detail in place I took the first shot but thought it was a bit too bright so I set the it to manual focus and set the camera to 1/10 F13 then going into the main menu White balance, Fluorescent  and set it on Day White Fluorescent  and dimmed the light tot the standards I needed it to dimed While the board was laying on the chair I decided to zoom in to the truck and the wheel and manually focused onto the wheel more than anything else to I can get the detail of the shadow and the trucks.
I took the shot but what I like about the photo the most is that how you can see the details of the scratches and damage the skateboard has been threw and how you can see the deep scratches on the trucks it’s self, I also like how you can see the hand coming together with the outline of the leaf has a nice tone of green to it, I think the green background gives it that little boost to the colour of the leaf and the shadow of the skateboard behind the skateboard.
What I could have done to improve the photo was to dime the lighting I was using called the soft box to give it a darker tone to the photo I think it would of gave the photo a bit more detail.
Silhouette
To me this Silhouette  photograph brings out a really great emotion to the viewers, what made me say that is how it was taken with the really dark subject in the middle and the red and white lights in the background, it’s almost as if the subject has two side of her, and I really think that’s what catches the viewers eyes because it could constantly keep the viewer thinking about what the photo is about and what was going through the photographers mind when they took the photo, what was going through my mind is how they are endless emotions and moods to this photo of the subject, and what really caught my eye after the photo was taken was the detail of the background, it gives off a purple look as it starts to fade out and that the background lighting of the photo backs up my opinion as the contrast between the analogues colours and complimentary colours help create a meaning to my photo.
This is because the analogues colours create a sense of peace, harmony which could be the subject’s innocent side where as the complimentary colours create a feeling of tension/ drama for example this could be the subject’s darker side/ Alter ego.
Self Portrait
Self Portrait in my eyes shows off the emotions of how the subject is feeling or what interest them in the photo, like in this photo the subject really has a passion for skateboarding and his feelings is almost thinking he could be better, it almost feels like he wants to be alone, it almost looks like he has a another side/ alter ego but what could really catch the viewers eyes in the photo is how dark his the hood is that is covering the subjects face also how the righting on the subjects hood stands out in the photo because of how bright and think that’s what separates the dark from light.

Film Poster
What I think that would grab the audience attention is how the poster and the title looks, The title would really grab the audience attention because of how it looks it almost looks like it would be a horror/ action movie because of how dark the title looks, it looks like a dried blood colour for a title, even the background of the poster, it had a really dark background to it with the nothing but spooky trees and the grim reaper in the background I think it really give a great look to the title and the poster, the itself looks really good for a film and what audience mostly like to watch are action movies and horror movies like something that would make them jump out of their seats and will start bring them back for more, another thing is if it has a good story behind it then the audience will start to watch the movie more, if a movie don’t have a story to it then no one wouldn't understand what’s going on and that would give off a bad vibe and bad ratings to the makers of the movie then the audience would want to watch the movie what so ever.
Light Painting
Light Painting is a really great way to catch the viewer’s eye, what caught my eye in this photo is how still his body is and then you can see upper part of his body moving really fast; it almost looks like something out of Alien vs. Predator lighting towards the subjects head looks like a helmet what the predator would have on and I think this I a great way to catch the viewer’s eye because they will be constantly using their imagination to figure out what it looks like and that is what inspired me about this photo because I thought exact same thing about the Alien vs. Predator theme about how the light on the subjects head looks like the Predators mask.
How this photo was taken is I set the subject middle if the centre with a long wire of lights, I turned off the lights in the studio so I could put the wire of lights on, I had my camera at a low shutter speed and help my finger on the button for 30 seconds while the subject is still but within 3 seconds the subject will rapidly move nothing but his head until the camera 30 seconds is up then you get a great looking light painting photo that would catch the viewers eyes and have them using their imagination about what the photo looks like.
Fashion
Fashion photography is a great way to use in your photos reasons why I way that is because most fashion is advertised on TV and fashion magazines for people to view, what would really catch the viewers eye about this photo and dress the subject is wearing is how you can see the reflection of the shinning dots that looks like stars or a galaxy as you like to call it within the dress, and then you see the beautiful furry coat that goes with the black dress and I reckon especially for the women this would definitely catch their eyes and it would make them want to spend their money on this dress so they would look similar to the subject as they go out clubbing, party, fancy restraint ect.

Many of Terry Richardson’s subjects would be shot before a white background with the celeb/ subject his taking photos of in the middle of the background put up but eventually he expanded to other backdrops, he is also known for him and his subjects posing together in photos but often he would give them his trademark glasses so they would look like him, Terry Richardson counts on Larry Clark, Nan Goldin, Robert Frank and Diane Arbus as his early influences on his artistic style for his photography, His work has officially been praised by Helmut Newton

This is one of Terry Richardson’s photos of the rapper Tyler The Creator from the group Odd Future, This photo really catches my eye, reasons why is that how Terry has a white background but and the corners  of the background starts to get darker looks grey but that is because of the Beauty Dish he is using to get so much detail in the photographs his taking, like the details that on the face of Tyler you can see near enough every detail in his face and his clothing, What I think that would also catch the viewers eye is the way posed also the refection of the light in his eyes it gives Tyler a serious look in his eyes.
I like how you can see the refection of his shadow in the white background, how it caught my eye is the lighting of the background as the camera and lighting is focused on his face the bottom are of his clothes get darker and so does the background itself, its great how he used Butterfly lighting even though the viewer can’t really see the shadow underneath the subjects nose, in my case the shadow is really thin because it really depends on the subjects size and look of the nose so if their nose is longer and pointed you will get more of a shadow under the nose but if the subjects nose is small and flat more than a point long nose the shadow becomes more harder to spot in a photograph another thing is you can spot a shadow under the chin of the subject and what gives it away is how bright the photo is and you have a really detailed shadow in the background of Tyler’s head.
What caught my in this photograph of the photographer Terry Richardson is how detail the colour of the subject eyes are and the background again become a dark grey at the corner of the photo also I like how he decides to use a white background for mostly every photograph he takes of a celebrate but what I also noticed and what also caught my eye is that he used a bit of clam shell lighting in this photo, reasons why I said clam shell lighting is because of the way the precision the model/ subjects face is to the background as you can see on the model/ subjects face it gets darker toward the right of her face then you can see the detailed shadow you get left behind and that’s why I said Terry Has used clam shell lighting, what would catch the viewers eye and what my opinion on this photo is detail on her eye its bring out a really strong vibe and it gives of a really good impact to the photograph, what makes this photo great is how the colour of her hair and outfit is near enough same colour, what I like about it is because its different, it gives off a reflection on the light and that is another thing that give off a really good impact to the photo it really separates the model/ subject to the background, what would grab my attention is the detail of the shadow you can almost see the little shadow underneath her nose and to the right side of the nose, it almost looks as if Terry Richardson has used butterfly lighting in his photo but what made me say he used clam shell lighting is how the model/ subjects face and body is posed what I think Terry has done for his set up is he more time got his subject to pose so her face is more to the side of the background instead of her face being straight like “Tyler The Creator” so he then can use two soft-boxes on both side of the model/ subject at the same distance and the angle to get that shadowy look at the right side of her face.

Studio Photography/Lighting
Studio photography is when you take photos of a subject /model in a studio instead of a place that is public with allot of people, but at the same time studio photography can improve your skills, how? It helps with your lighting positions you would always learn something new to improve photos by experimenting with the lights and making your photos look perfect to your standards.

Flash heads
The Flash Heads are a really great tool to use while taking photos in the studio; in my case I think it’s great for modelling because you can have two flash heads that can by triggered by another without have to set it up but to make that happen you have to have your camera connected to the flash by using a wire that automatically set of the flash giving you photos a great look.

Umbrellas flash

Umbrellas flash is one most standard forms of lighting accessory. The flash is directed into the brolly so that the light can be reflected back on to the subject becoming softer. It can be used in many different colours such as white gold silver and typically.

Soft-boxes
Soft-boxes simple and useful they create a softer and gentler look to used for more for flattering the subject with more of an illumination. The soft-boxes can be used to flash or as a continuous light sources that use bulbs such as tungsten bulbs or fluorescent lamps. There are also many types different soft boxes such as the generic 43 inch umbrella soft boxes, photo flex 24x32 inch soft, the Elinchorm 39 inch deep Octa and many more different soft-boxes in different shapes and sizes that all give their own unique reflection that is left behind within the eyes of the subjects if examined closely.

Reflectors

Reflectors are very simple and useful in the studio and outside especially if you are using one light in the studio or sunlight outdoors. They bounce light back onto the subject to fill the hard shadows that are in the way. All it really is just so white card bored or colour that reflect light well.

Beauty dish
A beauty dish is a lighting device that distributes light to the focal point it acts as a reflector but works in different ways. First they are much larger then reflectors the normal size range for a reflector is 7 to 16 inch diameter but beauty dishes are 22 inch in diameter. Second mostly all beauty dishes’ have an opaque cover. The cover is to prevent light from the canter of the beauty dish directly hitting the
Subject, the result of this is that the light is bouncing off the beauty dish and not just a direct flash hitting the subject but a softer light then a standard reflector.

Studio light set-ups

 Clam shell lighting:
The Clam Shell is a really easy lighting to do I think this lighting is really great for beginners who are just starting studio but to give your photo a really detailed look to it like the photo you see on the left all you need is two soft –boxes on each side of the model/subject and the model/subject in the middle near the lights and have the angle the same way then a reflector to fill in the shadows just to give the model and bit of shadow on the left side of her face and the best thing about this is you can have it taken in door or outdoors so you don’t always need a studio to do this.

Rim lighting:
Rim lighting is mostly used for a stylish photograph that can impact the viewers, how you do this is first you need to have a light that is placed slightly behind the subject/model but it needs to be and needs to be pointing towards the camera so it so you don’t see the face only outline of the subject/model but before you get it perfect you need to play around with the lighting and camera but you also need to find away to get it in the right angle but once you get it to your standards it will work pretty well.

Rembrandt lighting:
Rembrandt lighting is named after a old painter Rembrandt what he use to do is in most of his paintings he use to have the one side of the subject/person his painting left or right face dark so it almost looks as if there is a really dark shadow on the left or right side of the face and that is how Rembrandt Lighting is used today but instead its more technical with something called light set ups, how to make a photo similar to Rembrandt painting all you need to do is have you subject/model in a stance that has one part of the models face dark on the left hand side and a light one the right hand side, that makes the model have one side of the face lighter than the other and the other side really dark but what I like about this lighting setup is that if you bet it right you can actually get a little sparkle one of your models eyes and that gives the perfect look to you photo.

Butterfly lighting:
The buttery lighting was named after a butterfly look that a photo had that looked similar to a butterfly like shape shadow under the nose of the model and all this is by placing the light itself behind the camera that was high enough so the light is shining on the models head, the photographer has to take the photo in a certain way so his/she’s is taking the photo under the light course and that creates the butterfly effect on the models face in the photo, the butterfly lighting gives off a more glamour look and if you take it right you’ll get a shadow under the cheek and chin of the model.

Loop lighting:
Loop lighting is really simple in my eyes and I think it would make a good photo for photographers that take photos in the studio, how this is done is you need to have the light you’re using to a certain level I would say have it at 45 to 30 degrees from the camera so you can get that small shadow between the models/subject nose on to the cheek bone, but at to be honest it really depends on the models face.

Split lighting:
Split lighting is a great way to take photos, usually its used for male models more than female models because it brings out the more dramatic look on the photo and that is what I think people like about the split lighting that is just my opinion on it but how to do this look is really simple, all you do is have a light on either side that is focused on the side of the models face and make sure that the other side is really dark so you can’t see the models eye on the darker side of the photo.

My Photos:

In this photo I decided to use the Split lighting as you can tell on one side of the subject/Models face one side is more darker than the other side and that is because of the light is mainly focused on the my left hand side of his face, what really catches my eye on this photo is how serious his face is and in my eye’s it really brings out the effect in the photo and the effect serious his face is and in my eye’s it really brings out the effect in the photo and the effect is that it brings an impact to the viewer.

This photo is a loop lighting photo that I've taken by mainly focusing on the near right side of the face but at the same time it brings a really detailed shadow under the chin, just over the eye and at the side of the nose, I think the lighting I've used brings out a really detailed photo that really brings out the colour of the badges on the subject/models inner jacket but at the same time I think would catch the viewers eye.

This photo is Rembrandt lighting as you can see on the right had side of the subjects/models face is really darker than the left hand side I would of said it reminds me more of split lighting but the darker side isn't really that dark because you can see the subjects eye and skin, I really like how detailed the photo is and it really gives off a powerful look to the viewers that in my point in view.

This Photo is loop lighting what really attracts me about this photo is that you can see so much detail in the models/subjects eye, the reason why I said its loop lighting is because you can just about see the shadow in between the models/subjects nose and a bit on the cheek bone but you can’t really see it on the cheek bone

because of how the subjects/models cheeks, I think this is photo would attract the subjects eyes because on how you can see how much detail this model/subjects face and eye’s are.

This lighting right here is clam shell lighting because how bright the middle upper part of the eye is lit up and it bring the colour out very well, what catches my eye about this photo and what I think would catch the viewers eye’s is how detailed the eye is more than anything else because as you can see on the left hand side it starts to blur out and the more you look towards your right it gets really detailed but the best thing about the eye of this subject/model is that you can see the light in the eyes and it sort of look like a flower and that why I think this would catch the viewers eye.
